From "Old Tang Book Yuan Xing Chong Chuan": "The authorities are fascinated, and the onlookers are clear." Bureau, refers to the chess game. It means that the parties are easily confused, but outsiders often know it.
The sentence "I don't know the true face of Lushan Mountain, but toward which corner of the mountain" in Su Songshi's poem "Xilin Wall Topic" can be said to be another expression of "the authorities are fascinated, and the onlookers are clear": because people are in different positions and have different starting points to see problems, their understanding of objective things is inevitably one-sided; To understand the truth and the whole picture, we must go beyond the narrow scope, get rid of subjective prejudice, stand at the commanding heights and proceed from the overall situation.
Step 2 hesitate
From Zuo Qiuming's "Zuo Zhuan Xiang Gong Twenty-five Years" in the Spring and Autumn Period: "Players are indecisive and cannot be paired." I just hold a piece when I play chess, and I don't know how to play it. Metaphor when doing things have a lot of scruples, indecision.
During the Spring and Autumn Period, the monarch of Wei was arrogant and cruel, and Sun Wenzi and Ning, doctors of Wei, staged a military coup and drove him out. Later, Ning Huizi felt that she had done something wrong before she died, so she asked her son to mourn for him and must welcome Wei Xiangong back to China. Hearing that Ning was dead, the exile sent someone to contact Ning's son, promising that a son would take power after returning home. Everyone is opposed to Ning's doing such a foolish thing. A doctor said, "I don't think there is anything wrong with your expulsion twelve years ago." But now I have to bring Wei Xiangong back. I think it will be dangerous. Just like playing chess, a player who hesitates will fail. This is especially true for the abolition of the monarch. Hesitation will lead to genocide. " But Ning's son acted arbitrarily, refused to listen to persuasion, and returned to the public sacrifice. Finally, it was removed from the public offering.
Step 3: Match your opponent.
From Chronicle of Tang Poetry, Volume 77: "Are you sorry for you, diamond cut diamond?" . Metaphor meets people with equal strength and level.
At the end of the Tang Dynasty, there was a monk named Shi who liked playing Go very much, and he met the poet Lu Guimeng at that time. Lu Guimeng, a native of Gusu, was smart since he was a child. He once passed the Jinshi exam, but failed. But he has worked in Huzhou and Suzhou. Dissatisfied with the times, he lived in seclusion in Puli, Songjiang, and was not recruited. When Lu Guimeng was away, Shi missed his chess friend very much and wrote a poem. There are two lines in the poem: "diamond cut diamond, are you sorry?" Express sympathy and thoughts for chess friends.
This poem was written by Shi Puji shortly after the stone of the eminent monk in Zhao and Song Dynasties. (Volume 19) Taizhou Jingyuan Zen Master protects the country. There is also a poem "diamond cut diamond is hard to hide, and poetry can only be seen repeatedly".
