The Monkey King and Tang Priest walked all the way to a temple called Kannonji, which was quite large. An elder of Jinchi was in charge of the temple and dressed in gorgeous costumes. Elder Jinchi warmly received the master and disciples. While speaking, Wukong showed off Tang Priest's cassock to Elder Jinchi because of his words. Unexpectedly, Elder Jinchi became jealous at first sight, and then became greedy, trying to keep Tang Priest's cassock for himself. So he ordered the monks in the temple to burn both the master and the apprentice.
Wukong was very alert to the plot of Elder Jinchi, and then God borrowed a fire shield from King Guangmu, and a gust of wind blew and burned the Guanyin Temple. Elder Jinchi was also killed in the fire, but black wind mountain's black bear stole the cassock by taking advantage of the fire, and even held a "Buddhist costume party" to show off the cassock. Then Wukong invited Guanyin Bodhisattva to subdue the black bear.

This novel is called Guanyin Courtyard, and the curse lies in a cassock. Speaking of it, the origin of this cassock is not simple. It's really "knowing people, knowing faces and not knowing hearts"! Who would have expected that the master of Guanyin Garden had a bad heart at the party? When he saw that the cassock was all red and colorful, he set a poisonous trap, plotted to kill the Tang priest and his disciples with fire, and then took the cassock.
Who knows this plot was known by the Monkey King, but it didn't succeed. It is worth noting that many changes have taken place in the Monkey King's journey to learn from the scriptures. In addition to being a war hero, he also gained a layer of wisdom. This kind of wisdom, coupled with his courage, is invincible.
