The Life of the Characters in Wang Guojun's Works
Wang Guojun's father Ning Chu and his mother Tian Yuqing. When I was in primary school, I went to school with my father in Pingli County, Liquan County, Gan County, Xianyang County and Chang 'an County of Shaanxi Province. 1in the spring of 948, he was admitted to the tour with the first place. 1autumn of 948 to1autumn of 954, studying in Xi 'an Lu Sheng Middle School (No.4 Middle School).

Wang Guojun was diligent in middle school. At first, he liked chemistry and was attracted by wonderful chemical experiments. He often does chemical experiments in his spare time. Later, Wang fell in love with broadcasting, especially radio production. He bought natural copper (a traditional Chinese medicine, which is a kind of ore) from a drugstore and made his own crystal receiver. After graduating from high school, he began to make electron tube radios. He made a winding machine with bicycle parts and washing washboard, wound the transformer and made a transformer himself. He often goes to the shabby city (the city wall in the east of Xi) to find the parts needed to make radios. When he was a freshman, he made a radio with two electron tubes and listened to the program of Radio Moscow. When he graduated from high school, he made a five-tube superheterodyne radio, which can receive programs from all over the world.

Throughout high school, Wang Guojun's academic performance has been the top three. After his sophomore year, he became more obsessed with radio, dreaming of being admitted to Tsinghua University and pursuing further studies in the field of radio. He did well in the national college entrance examination 1954, but he failed to get in because of his poor family. He was admitted to the Mathematics Department of Xi 'an Normal University (the predecessor of Shaanxi Normal University). This incident was a heavy blow to him, and many students also expressed deep regret for it. At first, he decided not to go to college and planned to open a radio repair department with others, but his mother firmly disagreed. Under the patient guidance of his mother for many times, he reluctantly stepped into the door of Xi 'an Normal University with a sense of necessity.

After entering the university, Wang Guojun still loves radio and always wants to make some small inventions. Naive fantasies attract the attention of leaders and may be transferred to engineering universities. He soon found the idea impractical, and later his request to transfer to the physics department was not approved, so he was depressed and unhappy. At this time, one of his classmates saw that although he had no intention of studying mathematics, he did his homework well and urged him to write an article and submit it. Just then, the teacher talked about Menelaus theorem. Inspired by this, he wrote a Theorem of Intersection of Polygons and Lines and put it into mathematical communication, which will be published soon. This made him interested in mathematics. Subsequently, the continuous function without derivative and the area of regular polyhedron from the side length were published (mathematical communication). Only then did he discover that there were so many interesting things in mathematics, and he soon fell in love with mathematics. It was from this time that he decided to make a difference in the kingdom of mathematics. He taught himself some courses, such as number theory, general topology, halmos's measure theory, Natsume Soseki's theory of real variable function and so on. Wang Jing often used a famous German saying "Diligence and perseverance are the foundation of success" to encourage himself to study hard. By the fourth grade, in addition to learning all the courses well, Wang wrote two high-level papers in succession. One is "Generalization of Schiefel Theorem", published in Journal of Northwest University (No.3, 1958), and the other is "Expansion of a Differentiable Function on a Complete Set" published by advances in mathematics (1958, (4)). The publication of these articles, on the one hand, shows his mathematical talent. On the other hand, it also strengthened his determination to engage in mathematical research for life.

Wang Guojun is an excellent student in college. He has served as a class study Committee member, monitor and study officer of the school student union. 1956 was rated as an excellent student at the school level, and joined the * * * Youth League (then called the New Democratic Youth League) in the same year. During the graduation assignment from 65438 to 0958, all the students thought that Wang Yi would definitely stay in school (at that time, colleges and universities were expanding enrollment and teachers were insufficient), and he also filled out the volunteer form of staying in school hopefully, hoping to continue to engage in mathematics teaching and scientific research in the superior environment of colleges and universities. However, fate is the same as when he was admitted to the college entrance examination. Because of his poor family, he was assigned to work in Hanzhong No.1 Middle School again. At the same time, more than 20 mathematics graduates were assigned to work in colleges and universities (including staying in school). His mind was hit hard again.

Wang Guojun came to Hanzhong. He put aside all distractions and pains, and put his main energy into teaching as soon as he arrived at Hanzhong No.1 Middle School. In his words, "Never mistake people for children". Soon, he won the appreciation of teachers and students with excellent teaching results, and was soon appointed as the head of the mathematics teaching and research group. His teaching work was commended by Hanzhong City, and his advanced deeds were published in Hanzhong Daily. At this time, he didn't stop studying mathematics. He made a ten-year study plan for himself. Get up before dawn every day to read a foreign language (German), and study hard behind closed doors at night. At this time, he read many books on topology. Guan's topological space theory and some German original works were studied in this period. However, due to the lack of information, his research work has been greatly affected.

1July, 962, he was transferred to Yinzhen Middle School in Chang 'an County, which is close to Xi 'an, the provincial capital. He spends every Sunday and holiday in the provincial library. At that time, he was interested in Kelly's book General Topology, but he couldn't buy it in the bookstore. Wang used it day and night and copied all the articles in this English book and related academic journals. Later, he also carefully completed the exercises in the book (he still kept the manuscript). One Sunday, he found two mathematical questions from the Transactions of the American Mathematical Society: "Is the product of two H- closed spaces still H- closed?" "Is the product of two R- closed spaces R- closed?" He is determined to solve these two problems. During the holiday, he spent two weeks thinking hard. The first question was finally solved, and the conclusion was still H closed, and he gave a positive answer. The second question, after adding a condition, proves that the conclusion is R- closed. However, for various reasons, his paper was not published.

During the "Cultural Revolution", Wang Guojun was doomed and was labeled as "ghostly" and criticized many times. Some deceived teachers have a heavy ideological burden, and some even commit suicide. However, he is strong. During the "fooling around", he thought he was going to paint Rightists again, so he was ready to be a Rightist in the future. He planned to give his mother 12 yuan as living expenses and keep 8 yuan money for himself. The remaining four dollars are always reserved to buy some wax matches and the like, so that he can read books at night when he is re-educated through labor. 104 days later, he was inexplicably "liberated". Since then, the struggle between the two factions has escalated until it developed into a war, and no one paid attention to his "white expert" problem. In this case, he spent time reading smirnoff's Five-volume and More than Ten-volume Advanced Mathematics Course. Involved in functional analysis, algebra, topology and so on, carefully wrote down reading notes.

From 1958 university to 1978, Wang Guojun taught in middle schools for 20 years. These 20 years are the golden age of his life. During this period, although Wang was in adversity and went through hardships, he never bowed to his fate, and his belief remained unchanged, insisting on mathematical research. At the same time, he exerted his talents as much as possible and served the people with knowledge. The school set up a teaching aid factory. He led students to make a large number of three-dimensional geometric models and taught them geometry with all the production practices. He set up a radio repair department to teach students radio production technology. He also made his own audio signal generator and disconnector to serve farmers in Fiona Fang dozens of miles away. He repaired many loudspeakers and radios for farmers. He also led the students to make an expansion machine as a product of the school factory to support the nearby production team. When he and his students participated in the work of leveling land and repairing canals in rural production teams, they taught students the measurement methods and formulas for measuring land while working. He also trained many electricians for the countryside. During the Cultural Revolution, many academic magazines were forced to stop publishing, and some of his academic papers could not be published. Unwilling to waste time, he rewrote his own mathematics teaching articles and published seven articles before and after. During his 20 years in middle school, he not only taught mathematics, but also physics, chemistry, music and physical education.

The Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China brought spring to science and education, and reform and opening up brought vitality to teaching and scientific research. From April 65438 to April 0978, Wang Guojun was transferred back to the Mathematics Department of Shaanxi Normal University. The superior teaching and research environment in colleges and universities created conditions and opportunities for him to display his talents. He likes swimming in the ocean of science like a duck to water. During the seven years from 1978 to 1985, Wang published more than 20 papers in famous journals at home and abroad, such as China Science, Bulletin of Science, Journal of Mathematics, and Analysis and Application of American Mathematics. He has won the first, second and third prizes for scientific research achievements in Shaanxi Province for four times. Among them, three papers, Topological Molecular Lattice (Ⅰ), An Ideal Fuzzy Compactness and Order Homomorphism on Fuzzy, have been listed as major national scientific and technological achievements by the State Science and Technology Commission.

The wave of reform and opening up pushed Wang Guojun to the position of principal. 1986 Acting President and Principal of Shaanxi Normal University since May. Wang deeply feels that the principal's task is arduous, because it depends not only on personal intelligence and hard work, but also on the active support of the society and the joint efforts of the leading bodies. During his tenure as president, Wang worked hard to revitalize education and run Shaanxi Normal University well. Wang Guojun has been calling for improving the quality of students in normal universities for many years. He always speaks at every meeting, at the upstream of local enrollment meetings, at key middle schools inside and outside the province, and at the joint meeting of presidents of 100 universities. He wrote articles in Guangming Daily, Henan Education, Shaanxi Admissions Daily and other newspapers, calling on all sectors of society to attach importance to normal education. He put forward that "the day when the status of teachers is really improved is the time when the Chinese nation is revitalized". His initiative and appeal have been widely responded and supported, which has greatly improved the quality of freshmen in Shaanxi Normal University. In addition to his busy administrative work, Wang insisted on taking time out to engage in teaching and scientific research. While he was the principal, he also took many doctoral and master students and insisted on teaching graduate students and undergraduates. During this period, 20 academic papers and two academic monographs were published.

1994 10 Wang retired from the post of principal. At this time, he devoted all his energy to scientific research and teaching. He organized an academic discussion class once a week with a research group composed of doctoral students, master students, visiting scholars and young teachers. In just a few years, a series of scientific research achievements have been made in the new research field of non-classical mathematical logic, which have been published in domestic and foreign academic journals such as China Science and Science Bulletin.
