Bian Que's personal data
(about 5th century BC-4th century BC), surnamed Ji, named Qin, was a famous doctor during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.

Bian Que once lived in Brewmaster Cave (also known as Qin Yueren Cave) in Pengque Mountain, Zhong Qiu. He learned from Chang Sangjun, tried his best to inherit his medical skills, drank the water from the "upper pool" (stone basin) on the top of the mountain, and obtained superb medical skills. From the beginning, he cured Zhao Jianzi of his five-day illness.

Zhao Jianzi gave him 40,000 mu of Pengque Mountain Farm in Bian Que and got the land of Food City. Coincidentally, on the top of Pengque Mountain, there are also natural stone magpies who want to fly and magical stone figures who look at the world quietly. Zhao people regard Qin Yueren as an auspicious magpie, but respectfully call him "Bian Que", that is, "Zhao people's name is Bian Que". Later, Bian Que traveled to the country as a doctor and skillfully treated Prince Guo.

Prince Guo reluctantly gave up what he wanted, and came to Pengqueshan Taiziyan to collect herbs. Bian Que was killed by Li Yi, a great doctor of Qin Dynasty in Xianyang. Zhao people in Pengque Mountain took his head back from Xianyang and buried it at the foot of the mountain. Since then, Jiaozi Village and Langjiazhuang have been merged into one and renamed as "Shentou Village". Since then, temples and shrines have been built and consecrated for generations.

Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi lists Neijing, Waijing, Huangdi Neijing, Huangdi Waijing, Bai Neijing, Waijing and Bianpian as seven medical classics. In the Han Dynasty, public opinion generally respected Bian Que as the "Sect of Fang Zhe".
