Confucius' achievements

Confucius' great achievement lies not only in his academic attainments, but also in his educational thoughts and political opinions. He put forward the educational thought of "teaching without class", thinking that the purpose of education is to cultivate talents with both ability and political integrity, not just to impart knowledge. He also put forward the idea of "benevolence".

2. Politically, Confucius advocated "rule by courtesy" and thought that only through etiquette norms and moral education can long-term social stability be achieved. He opposes violence and oppression, and advocates serving people with morality, and solving problems through moral education and persuasion. These thoughts and propositions of Confucius had a far-reaching impact on the development of ancient China society.

Confucius is also a master of culture and a historian. He sorted out ancient documents and classic works, which laid the foundation for the academic and cultural development of later generations. He also wrote The Spring and Autumn Annals, a historical work, which recorded the politics, economy, culture and other aspects of China at that time, and provided valuable information for future generations to study history.
