The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, also known as the Xiajiang River or the Great Three Gorges, is located on the main stream of the Yangtze River in Chongqing, Enshi and Yichang, China. It starts from Baidicheng, fengjie county, Chongqing in the west, passes through Enshi and reaches Nanjinguan, Yichang, Hubei in the east, with a total length of193km, and consists of Qutang Gorge, Wuxia and Xiling Gorge.

Since 2065438+September 25th, 2004, the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area has been open to China tourists (including compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas Chinese) free of charge. The free tourist attractions covered by this ticket include Tanziling Park, 185 observation deck and Interception Memorial Park. After entering the Three Gorges Dam area, tourists need to pass the security check at the tourist transfer center and take the sightseeing bus to transfer to special scenic spots.
Compared with the tickets collected before, the ways, scenic spots and tour routes of tourists are basically unchanged. The traffic service in the scenic spot is paid service. Real-name reservation is required, with a maximum of 40,000 person-times per day.
