As can be seen from the poems handed down from generation to generation, there are not many poems describing the mountain scenery of temples, and the author only knows a few. For many non-professional scholars, the most familiar poem is probably the first poem, especially the couplet "My road winds through sheltered valleys, branches and flowers to a Buddhist retreat".
Someone once commented that the poem "Zen after breaking the mountain temple" completed the artistic conception of Tang poetry. There are thousands of Tang poems, but one word is missing. As soon as this poem came out, it was all gone.
