There is a story in "Eternal Words to Awaken the World": In the Tang Dynasty, Xue, a recorder who was a Jinshi, had a high fever due to illness. On the seventh day of his high fever, he gradually fell asleep. In the dream, he was overheated, so he jumped into the water and transformed into a golden carp. He met an old man fishing on a boat.

The bait was tempting. When Xue Lushi was about to open his mouth to eat, he thought to himself: "I know there is a hook on his bait. If I swallow this bait, will I be caught by him? Although I have temporarily changed Now that I have become a fish, why can’t I seek food elsewhere and eat the bait on his hook?”

So he swam around the boat. Unexpectedly, the smell of the bait was so strong that it felt like it was getting into my nostrils, and I was hungry again. Finally, after much hesitation, Xue Lu couldn't resist the temptation of the bait, so he opened his mouth to bite the hook, and became the old man's catch.

Feng Menglong commented: "You can see through it with your eyes, but you can't bear it in your heart."

There is no one who is greedy for sex, power, and money in life who does not lose his mind, and the loss of his mind is the beginning of harming his life. A person who has too many desires will correspondingly lack wisdom and spirituality.

Greed ruins one's life and one loses one's ambition by playing with things. If one indulges in pleasure, it can be basically concluded that this person has no future. Throughout the ages, no one who can really do great things is demanding excessively and is greedy for money and power. Desire is human nature. However, once it is connected with the word "addict" or "deep", it becomes the source of all evil.

Don’t be happy with things, have less material desires; don’t be sad with oneself, and be less obsessed with fame and wealth. Life will be bright and cloudy, and the heart will be light and windy, and finally get the "Hua Zhichun" The beautiful artistic conception of "full heart, full moon". People without self-control are not good enough to talk about life.

2. See yourself clearly before you can see others clearly

Knowing yourself begins with knowing yourself, and then knowing others. ——"Guiguzi"

5. Kindness is expensive, please don’t waste it

A gentleman rejects evil, and a villain rejects kindness. ——"Guiguzi"

A gentleman will not do evil, and a villain will not do good.

A gentleman with high moral character cares most about his reputation and reputation, and has his own code of conduct, so they generally do not do evil things. He also likes to use small means to frame others, and he will do whatever it takes to achieve his own interests. Therefore, when we interact with people, the first step is to distinguish a person's true character and understand whether he is a gentleman or a villain.
