1, flow and live in the present.
What we often hear today, such as "living in the present" and "caring about a place", all come from Buddhism, so what is living in the present? In fact, it is to focus on what you are doing at the moment. This moment is every minute, and concentration is to focus on this moment to achieve a high degree of concentration of the whole body and mind. A high degree of concentration brings concentration, which brings many different feelings, such as calm, joy, handling affairs like an expert, abnormal feeling of time, high immersion and complete enjoyment.
The present presentation can be a sudden realization of the beauty of a flower's life, a return to ancient times with the breath, a reluctance to leave after enjoying Mika for a long time, a trembling cry for the unyielding spirit of gypsies because of being immersed in a vagrant song, a sudden awakening in the middle of the night to record the academic inspiration flying into the brain, and a feeling of completing the challenge and getting a transition like an expert.
I think traffic is one of the manifestations of strength now. The characteristic of flow is that what you do feels challenging and complicated, and you have a clear goal when you do something wrong. After the flow experience, you will feel your special and mental growth, which will bring joy. Now the strength covers a wider range, such as eating, which can't be called a challenge, but we can still bring a very good feeling of pleasure by focusing on food, or we may suddenly be enlightened at the moment when the taste buds open.
What flow requires to deal with is neither boring repetition nor anxious pressure, but controllable within one's own ability and can be confirmed according to immediate feedback. In this challenging transaction process, it presents a peak experience, which makes people feel capable, in control, comfortable and fulfilled. It emphasizes the transcendence of self-ability. The essence of the present power in Buddhism is to feel such a peak experience, see one's own awareness, and see the essence of everything, so as to get the infinite expansion of life. Therefore, the experience of flow is the projection of the current strength on the sense of accomplishment, control and uniqueness.
2. Flow and enlightenment
Enlightenment is the inconceivability of non-culture, that is, to cut into the space between thoughts and understand the grandeur of consciousness, that is, to know the essence of the heart. It brings calm, joy and clarity, and it is a thorough and transparent understanding. In addition to the characteristics of joy and calmness, there is also great love. The Buddha we usually say is awareness, and everyone has it. Buddha is not the numerous Buddha statues we see, but the appearance that is convenient to tell the world. The purpose is to tell the world that there is awareness. Guiding people to do good is just a kind of teaching given by the Buddha to the world, because many good deeds often lead to love in the heart, and the mentality full of love makes people happy and calm, which can reduce conflicts and relax their tense relationship with others. Love and calm can calm down negative emotions, and calm and positive emotions are more likely to bring physical and mental concentration, which is described as anti-entropy increase in flow, and inner order can be restored through anti-entropy increase.
There are eight situations in Buddhism, each of which is a practical way to expand life. All these ways are to help users focus on the present consciousness. The Buddha's name mantra sounds mysterious, but in fact, only through constant chanting can they concentrate and forget both. From these perspectives, its compassion aims to guide people to find the ultimate belonging and happiness. Although enlightenment is more thorough than flow, it is also more difficult to achieve, and this kung fu is more real and pure. It is impossible to understand with logical thinking, so it is not easy for ordinary people to master it, and even it is covered with a layer of mystery.
Mobility is even more beneficial to the WTO. Not as thorough as enlightenment, but everyone can have it. Unity of knowing and doing, selfless dedication brings a feeling of physical and mental pleasure. Flow focuses more on the feeling of growth, while enlightenment focuses more on understanding the original truth of everything. Flow is more instructive to guide our daily life and work, because it emphasizes immediate feedback and gives us a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment of constantly challenging ourselves. What flow pursues is not necessarily complete understanding, but more self-growth and transformation.
3, dense flow brings happiness.
The exploration of happiness in the book Flow gives us a quantifiable understanding of happiness. The author puts forward the concept of spiritual entropy. The higher the entropy, the more chaotic the internal order and the farther away from happiness. Confusion of consultation, frustration and pain of life, expansion of desire, etc. It will lead to the increase of entropy and aggravate the inner disorder, which is manifested as non-positive emotions such as inattention, uncontrollable emotions, no goal in life, boredom, and lack of enjoyment of life. Flow is anti-entropy. No matter whether the external environment is superior or difficult, we can regain our inner order and get happiness through flow experience.
Flow requires clear goals, immediate feedback, full commitment to challenges, and continuous self-transcendence. When we use flow intensively in our life, we can maintain a positive state of efficacy and feel satisfied with ourselves. At the same time, the positive attitude towards life will affect the people around us, meet the inner needs and gain full feelings, which will make our work and life as smooth as possible, and its by-product is the harmony of wealth and interpersonal relationships.
Living in the present is not as casual as being a monk banging a bell every day. Know what you want and realize your social value by setting small goals and traffic experiences. In flow, the joy and sense of accomplishment we get will make us hope to get more flow experience, so we will control our emotions, plan our lives, and constantly increase and design the external conditions that produce flow. When such positive feedback is constantly formed, it will be more and more convenient for us to apply it. When we have a dense flow experience in our life, we will become a happy person. Maybe one day we will cross the torrent of time in an instant, realize the present and see the present.
4. Preheating before the start of flow
In the daily behavior without complexity and challenge, we can also focus on realizing anti-entropy enhancement at present to obtain internal order, and provide the best psychological and physical warm-up for the emergence of challenging flow.
For example, before writing a paper, we'd better have a set of actions, such as enjoying the cooking process wholeheartedly, tasting the taste of food wholeheartedly, concentrating on doing some relatively simple daily activities to restore distracted attention, and then doing challenging things, so that it is easier to enter the flow state.
The goal of traffic can be big or small, and the challenge can be big or small. It is embodied in various affairs and environments, which can be work goals, study goals, sports goals, game goals and so on. The traffic experience generated by one project can also be the preheating link of the traffic experience of another project. We can use hobbies, such as playing basketball, to cut into the hearty flow experience, so that we can relax and be happy both psychologically and physically, and then make more positive preparations both physically and psychologically when we enter the workflow.
