The new curriculum reform in rural remote mountainous areas is actually a slow project. However, some teachers and managers always think that we have not fundamentally got rid of the old educational ideas and methods when implementing the new curriculum. However, the new curriculum is the crystallization of the continuous inheritance, development and innovation of the old educational ideas and concepts. Canadian education expert Mike? Fulan has a famous saying: "Change is a process, not an event." The "newness" of new education is not a denial of the original education, the original educational concept, fashion and novelty, but a kind of inheritance and call. Professor Zhu Yongxin said: "When some ideas are gradually forgotten and brought up again, they are new;" When some ideas are just said and done today, they are new; When some ideas change from vague to clear and from poor to rich, they are new; When some ideas are applied from the old background to the present background to inherit, develop and innovate, they are new ... ". Emphasize the renewal of educational concepts and establish new educational concepts. I don't think we should deny everything in the past and throw away tradition. Only inheritance can bring innovation; How to innovate without inheritance? In my opinion, any experiment that abandons traditional experiments and cuts off history is lifeless and will eventually fail. The new educational experiment is one of the best educational experiments in inheritance and development. It is precisely because the new educational thought has both inheritance and innovation, and develops in innovation that the whole country is advocating the new curriculum reform, which has also attracted thousands of teachers in Qian Qian to participate consciously. The new education experiment, a small tree that broke ground in the new century, took root and sprouted in the fertile soil of traditional education in China, and absorbed China's rich educational thoughts for thousands of years, so it took root and sprouted, and finally grew into a towering tree.
Our teacher just has no confidence. They think it is inappropriate for us to implement the new curriculum in these remote places. They always find some objective reasons, such as insufficient teaching conditions and backward facilities. Of course these exist. But as long as we have confidence, passion and ideals, we will succeed. When there is no ideal in life, the meaning of life is over. When there is no ideal in education, the hope of education disappears. Countless facts tell us that whoever can persist in his dream can realize it. Who can persistently pursue the ideal, who can constantly realize the ideal. Professor Zhu Yongxin once wrote a poem with passion, entitled "Educational Ideal and Ideal Education", including two paragraphs:
Education needs passion, dedication and selfless dedication;
Education needs poetry and romantic feelings;
Education needs tact and needs to seize every fleeting opportunity;
Education needs vitality and a young heart to work;
Education needs perseverance, unremitting pursuit and persistent exploration;
Lofty ideals are the source of passion, poetry, wisdom, vitality and perseverance.
Ideal produces passion, and passion makes the main theme of ideal powerful;
Ideal produces poetry, and poetry makes the ideal palette radiant;
Ideal produces wit, which makes the pursuit of ideal full of wisdom and beauty;
Ideal produces vitality, and vitality gives source to the realization of ideal;
Ideals produce perseverance, and perseverance makes the exploration of ideals a happy process;
Passion, poetry, wit, vitality and perseverance make the ideal become a beautiful reality.
This is a poem I read by Professor Zhu, a passionate poem about new education in the new century. As educators, in fact, when the new curriculum reform was just implemented, many teachers also questioned how far the new curriculum reform could go. Especially in rural education, I want to give them an answer, that is, it is necessary to implement the new curriculum in rural areas. There must be difficulties in the implementation process, but as long as we have dreams, as long as we act, we will keep moving forward, and as long as we keep moving forward, we will realize our dreams. We are not imitating the western educational model, but I think we are inheriting and carrying forward the long and ancient culture and history of China, so we must do this both in big cities and in our rural areas.
