Drug and AIDS have become a familiar word to all of us. "Drug" is a terrible term. If you are not careful, you will fall into it. Its clutches. The full name of AIDS is "Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome". When the human body is in a normal state, the immune system in the body can effectively resist attacks by various viruses. Once the AIDS virus invades the human body, this good defense system will collapse, and various viruses will take the opportunity to drive in through the blood and wounds. In layman's terms, the HIV virus deals a fatal blow to people by destroying their immune system and body's resistance. Despite the tremendous efforts of many medical researchers around the world, no specific drug has yet been developed to cure AIDS, and there is no effective vaccine for prevention. At present, AIDS, with a case fatality rate of almost 100%, has been classified as a Class B notifiable infectious disease by my country and is listed as one of the infectious diseases monitored by border health. That’s why we call it a “super terminal illness”.

What is the connection between the two? Drug addicts like to inject drugs intramuscularly or subcutaneously, and the needles used for injecting drugs often contain HIV, which becomes an important way of spreading AIDS: blood transmission! Research shows that 61.219% of AIDS patients are taking drugs or have used drugs, and 98.326% of people who have taken drugs are infected with AIDS. It can be said that drug abuse will definitely cause people to be infected with AIDS, and AIDS will definitely destroy families!

As a middle school student and a member of the big family of society, I have the obligation and ability to do a good job in anti-drug and AIDS prevention work, resolutely do not smoke, do not drink, and develop a good life. Habit; in school, assist teachers and classmates in promoting anti-drug and AIDS prevention knowledge, and finally support our beautiful tomorrow.
