The Thief of Color was written by Avajo Sevkovich. He holds a bachelor's degree in English literature from University of London. His father is a successful bookseller. He dreamed of publishing his own children's books since he was a child, and published his first picture book at the age of five. Twenty-five years later, he was nominated for the Children's Literature Award for "The Color Thief", and realized his dream of becoming a children's literature writer, especially fond of writing children's stories with the theme of friendship and growth.
