Typesetting problems of Chinese ancient books publishing house
In the typesetting of ancient medical books, the common problem is to change and delete them at will. Typesetting books of ancient medical books are usually printed directly (or copied from the original book or rearranged) after punctuation is added to the original book (or old punctuation or new punctuation), or printed and published after a little proofreading; Some typesetting books are not completely faithful to the original and record the original directly. The proofreader makes changes to the original book according to his own understanding without giving any explanation. Changes and additions are not limited to individual words, and some chapters have rewritten the title, text and original notes accordingly, which has largely lost its original appearance.

In many typesetting books of ancient medical books, the original books were abridged to varying degrees, and most of the abridged contents were unscientific and worthless. In fact, these contents may not really have no academic value. For example, there are two long-lost articles in Su Wen, namely, Theory of Acupuncture and Theory of Diseases, which were supplemented and annotated in the early Song Dynasty. The gold edition also includes these two full texts, so the famous doctors in Jin and Yuan dynasties played a great role in these two classics and had a great influence on the theory of luck acupuncture in the future. However, most of the later versions did not contain these two articles, or only contained the text, and deleted the notes with strong Taoist colors. In the previous collations of Su Wen, little attention was paid to the "legacy", so that today people know almost nothing about these two contents except the famous sentence of "keeping righteousness in the interior" (in fact, quite a few people don't know that this famous sentence comes from Su Wen Heritage). Recently, some scholars have discovered the academic value of "heritage" and expounded it from different angles, thus vindicating "heritage", but it is difficult for people to see its full text. The lessons of our predecessors should not be forgotten. I hope that in the future, before abridging, we must think twice and leave more original documents for future generations.
