1. Give yourself a ritualized study/work environment.
In my home, my favorite and proudest place is my desk. I bought a beautiful little bookshelf on the Internet and put it on my desk. The bookshelf is full of books that I like at every stage and hope to finish reading. There are my favorite simple small alarm clock, my favorite pen container, my favorite desk lamp and my favorite drinking cup on the desk. I like Wenchuang products very much, and I like to buy all kinds of beautiful notebooks or lists. Wherever I go, whenever I see a place where pens are sold, I will pick some pens I like and put them in the pen container. In a word, my desk is full of things I like, and they are all arranged in the way I like.
So every time I feel depressed and don't want to work hard, I go online to buy the books I want to read recently, or sometimes I just think the books look good and buy them back. When the books arrive, tidy up the desk, replace the books I have read or don't want to put on the desk for the time being, put those books on another big shelf, and then replace my newly bought books.
Then I took out a pen that I liked very much at that time from the pen container, wrote down today's things, what books I read, what work I finished, what manuscripts I finished on the post-it note, wrote it clearly, and then posted it where I could see it when I looked up.
No matter day or night, close the curtains anyway, then turn on my small desk lamp, make a cup of coffee or a cup of tea, sit on the desk, read a book, or turn on the computer to deal with my work. Pretending to be an elite woman in an idol drama, while dealing with work, she hinted to herself: "This kind of study and work environment is great. Isn't this the life of the heroine in the idol drama I want? I should work hard. "
I used to think that you could study wherever you wanted. But when we grow up, we begin to feel that a ritualized study and work environment will make us more willing to work hard.
When you don't want to work hard, providing yourself with a good study and work environment will give you a strong hint that "in order to live up to such a good environment, you must work hard."
A little change in life can bring us great motivation. We also call these small and beautiful things small and lucky.
If you don't want to work hard, make yourself a little artificial happiness and make yourself feel better in life.
The more I don't want to work hard, the more I want to keep myself busy.
Sometimes we cannot indulge our laziness, because the more we indulge, the more we want to be lazy.
Many times, the more I don't want to work hard, the more I deliberately find something urgent, force myself to be busy, give myself a dead line and get busy.
For example, I will force myself to read books, give myself a goal that is not so easy to accomplish, read two books a week, a professional book and a literature book, and ask myself to write two qualified book reviews. I was afraid of being lazy, so I took the initiative to tell the editor that I would hand in the book review for you three days later.
In order not to break my word and hand in the manuscript on time, I usually get up and read it at once, turn pages and take notes while reading. In the process of having a goal to accomplish, I will not feel confused, nor will I feel that I am not motivated. Only occasionally I feel a little stressed, worried about what to do if I can't finish reading it, and then in the process of constantly chasing myself, I successfully complete my set goals within the specified time every time.
And when you accomplish something according to your own goals, you realize your promise to yourself, and you are very happy inside, or very happy from the heart, recognizing yourself and being full.
Usually, positive emotions will form a virtuous circle. After you do something that makes you feel a sense of accomplishment, you won't want to continue to be lazy. In order to maintain this full sense of pleasure, you will devote yourself wholeheartedly to the next thing that requires your efforts. After going back and forth several times, those who are negative, sad and don't want to work hard have long been left behind. You feel the benefits of hard work and you will be willing to continue to work hard. Although the process will be a little harder, compared with the pleasure of playing games, the satisfaction after work is really doubled.
Therefore, to put it bluntly, many times a person is idle and has no ambition. When you really keep yourself busy, do something down-to-earth and make a lot of efforts to finish it, you are very motivated.
Next time you are depressed, continue to take yourself out of your comfort zone, do something not so easy, and force yourself to challenge yourself.
