The Humble Administrator’s Garden was first built in the fourth year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty (1509). Wang Xianchen, the royal censor, returned to his hometown due to frustration in officialdom, and expanded the site of Dahong Temple into a garden. The name of the Humble Administrator’s Garden is based on It is an abbreviation of the sentence "This is also a clumsy person in politics" in "Xianju Fu" written by Pan Yue in the Western Jin Dynasty. The Humble Administrator's Garden is divided into East Garden, Middle Garden and West Garden.
Entering the main entrance of the Humble Administrator's Garden, passing through the "Enter" and "Tongyou" two-month cave doors, the "Lanxue Hall" opens to welcome guests. "Orchid Snow Hall" is the main hall in the eastern part of the Humble Administrator's Garden, which is inspired by Li Bai's poem "Independent between heaven and earth, the breeze scatters orchid snow". The hall is divided into two halls by a screen. The south hall is decorated with lacquer carvings of "Panorama of the Humble Administrator's Garden" and the north hall is decorated with "Green Bamboo Pictures". ?
