Content abstract: Morita therapy was founded by Dr. Morita Shoma in Japan around 19 19. Based on oriental philosophy, Dr. Morita Shoma got inspiration from his own mental illness, summed up his clinical experience, and formed this unique psychotherapy through practice, exploration and research.
Morita therapy is characterized by guiding patients to do what they should do without drugs and symptoms. In short: "conform to nature" and "follow one's inclinations", and solve psychological obstacles in action. At first, neurosis was used as an indication, and later it was expanded into an auxiliary technology to treat various psychological disorders.
Morita therapy is simple, easy for doctors and patients to master, saving time and money, and has remarkable curative effect. It has been widely accepted by the international medical community, and Morita Shoma himself is known as "Freud of the East".
