Introduction to the plot of forensic psychiatry
Psychic Forensic Medicine is adapted from Zhu Mingchuan's novel Listening to the Corpse. It tells the story of Peng Hai forensic doctor Mingchuan (Nie Yuan) who is eccentric but professional enough. He is the absolute authority of the local forensic community and is also called "Listening to the Corpse" because he is good at analyzing the situation and psychology of the deceased.

One of the double clues of psychic forensic medicine is to create a "big case" from the beginning, that is, the mummy case. Because of the clever handling of the body, Mingchuan became a suspect in this case, and another clue is a daily, fast-paced small case. These two clues are interrelated. Luo Ruixin (Yi Song), the female criminal police captain of Guangming City, secretly investigates the background of Ming Chuan while helping him solve the case.

Different from the traditional impression that forensic dramas give the public the pursuit of excitement, bloody exaggeration and extreme curiosity, psychic forensic doctors not only trace the truth of the murder case, but also convey more concern for the deceased and complex human nature.

In the creative concept of the play, suspense, reasoning and brain burning are just means of expression, and the deepest ideological core is to draw the real and complicated emotional relationship between people in today's society through cases. Therefore, exposing the cruelty of the case is not an end in itself, but to set off beautiful, warm and positive emotions.
