In Freud's time, the word homosexuality was still immature. At that time, the English term of psychoanalysis was "sexual inversion", which was translated from German into English, and the Chinese translation was "sexual inversion" or "sexual inversion".

In Three Treatises on Sexology (1905), he attributed sexual perversion to the joint action of nature and nurture, both of which are indispensable and cannot be established independently. For the narcissistic complex mentioned by the subject, Freud began to do relevant research in 19 14 (see Introduction to Narcissism). Later, Freud's research was more philosophical and paid more attention to a generalization of sexuality. So Freud didn't associate narcissism with homosexuality.
