Transcendental meditation, also translated by Hong Kong and Taiwan as "transcendental meditation", is also called transcendental meditation. This is a simple and natural meditation technique, which was founded by the famous Indian scientist Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and spread all over the world. This is the most deeply studied type of meditation in the world. Compared with incantation meditation, incantation is more customizable. This kind of meditation is suitable for people who like to be organized and carefully maintain meditation practice.
From 65438 to 0957, Master Yuji began to teach transcendental meditation techniques in the United States. He hopes people can understand that everyone has a huge treasure house, which is full of infinite energy, wisdom, creativity and happiness. This is the field of pure awareness-pure consciousness. Usually, it is difficult for people to perceive the existence of this field, because the chaos and noise in the external world prevent us from perceiving it.
Transcendental meditation provides a simple and effortless way to calm people's hearts, transcend their thoughts, and experience the quiet treasure house full of energy, creativity and wisdom in everyone's heart, thus realizing people's infinite nature and unlimited potential.
Transcendental meditation exercise 15, 20 minutes twice a day. The operation of the brain is more coordinated than usual, and the body will get 10 times more deep rest than usual. Its effortless and natural practice process and far-reaching effect are unique among all meditation techniques. The application of transcendental meditation technology can reach the normal state of life enlightenment, which is also the higher consciousness realm and ultimate goal of learning transcendental meditation.
Transcendental meditation is a meditation technique to establish contact with the superego, and it tends to focus on pure consciousness meditation.
People's ability to enjoy life depends entirely on the full use of consciousness. There are seven states of human consciousness-awakening, sleeping, dreaming, pure consciousness, universal consciousness, divine consciousness and unified consciousness. The real world is mapped to your cognitive world through these seven kinds of consciousness, and your state of consciousness will determine how you look at the world.
Seven categories of human consciousness:
The first kind of consciousness: awakening consciousness
The second kind of consciousness: sleep consciousness
The third kind of consciousness: the consciousness of dreams
The fourth consciousness: pure consciousness
Fifth Consciousness: Cosmic Consciousness
Sixth consciousness: God consciousness
Seventh Consciousness: Unity Consciousness
Electroencephalogram (EEG) shows that transcending meditation can increase the coordination of brain waves. By transcending meditation, the most important prefrontal cortex (the "CEO" of the brain) will make great progress. The prefrontal cortex of the brain is responsible for important executive functions, such as planning, decision-making, problem solving and judgment.
Meditation essentially follows the eight-character principle: relaxation, comfort, quietness and naturalness.
Four steps beyond meditation: meditation and relaxation, chanting, natural realization and slow recovery.
1, sit still and relax:
First, find a quiet and undisturbed environment. The light in the room is soft and not very bright. Close your eyes and relax 1-2 minutes to calm yourself down from the daily noise.
Sit up quietly and put your hands on your thighs naturally. Relax your muscles, starting with your feet, going from bottom to top, and going to the end.
2. Say a spell:
Concentrate on the spell. The brain repeats the spell. You can choose a word that has a calming effect, so it is better if the word has a special meaning to you. Once selected, don't change it, because it can form a reflection and quickly enter a calm state. For example, you can choose the Om formula of OM meditation, and you can also use words with deep nasal sounds such as clam, ocean, home and equality. M and n in these words have hypnotic effect, which causes * * * to ring in your brain. After the bass vibration is consistent with the brain wave fluctuation, the heart rate slows down, blood pressure decreases and oxygen consumption decreases, which can further help us calm down. It is the last sound that brings a calming effect, so don't think about the meaning of the word, just focus on the rhyme of the word. Slow down your breathing, follow the natural breathing rhythm, and say your chosen mantra every time you exhale.
A few people will choose abstract symbols or figures instead of spells. If you choose an abstract symbol, imagine it every time you breathe.
3. Natural consciousness:
Get rid of all other thoughts and don't be distracted by the outside world, but you don't need to concentrate (avoid becoming a focused meditation), control your mind, have no thoughts of observation (avoid becoming a mindfulness meditation), and try to "empty" your brain to maintain natural awareness. Inner peace, no thinking and desire, watching the natural ups and downs of spiritual fluctuations. Constantly try to enter the pure consciousness, and gradually challenge the universal consciousness, divine consciousness and unity consciousness.
Step 4 slow down:
It is best to do it twice a day, each time 10-20 minutes. After the end, slowly recover, take a few minutes to slowly recover to a fully awake state, not too fast. Note that deep relaxation is not a matter of practice. Practice more and you will make progress soon.
Note: Transcendentalism
To say transcendental meditation, we must say its theoretical basis-transcendentalism.
Its core view is that people can transcend feeling and reason, directly know the truth and emphasize the importance of intuition. Transcendentalists emphasize the essential unity of all things, all things are restricted by "oversoul", and the human soul is consistent with "oversoul" This affirmation of the sanctity of human beings makes transcendentalists despise external authority and tradition and rely on their own direct experience. Emerson's famous saying "Believe in yourself" became the motto of the transcendentalists. This transcendentalist view emphasizes people's subjective initiative, which is helpful to break the shackles of Calvinism's dogmas such as "human nature is evil" and "the final verdict of fate" and lay the ideological foundation for passionate and expressive romantic literature.
Transcendentalism and religious reform have the same theoretical basis, and anyone can communicate directly with God/oversoul. Ordinary believers can directly enter a trance state without relying on regular clergy, special ceremonies, utensils and altars. This is because after the Reformation, Protestantism encouraged believers to communicate with God independently and further develop their spirituality, which involved a special form of Protestant mysticism.
