Stories about hypocrisy in Aesop's fables
1 The Bear Restaurant and the Fox Once, the bear boasted to the fox that he loved human beings so much that he never had the heart to eat the meat of the dead. The fox replied, "If you only eat the flesh of the dead and not the flesh of the living, thank God." The wolf and the lamb hiding in the temple chased the lamb, and the lamb hid in the temple. The wolf called the lamb and said that once the priest found him, he would kill him to sacrifice to God. The lamb replied, "Oh, I would rather be a sacrifice to God than die at your hands." 3 Hunters and Loggers A hunter is looking for traces of lions. He asked the woodcutter if he had seen the lion's footprints and where the lion's nest was. "I can take you to see a live lion." The woodcutter said. The hunter turned pale and his teeth trembled with fear. He repeatedly said, "I only look for traces of lions, not live lions."
