Tao Xingzhi (1891-1946), a famous educator in modern times, was born in Shexian County, Huangshan City. From 65438 to 0927, Xiaozhuang Normal School, a famous experimental rural normal school at home and abroad, was founded, and the life education theory of "society is education", "life is education" and "teaching, learning and doing are integrated" was put forward, which advocated that education should go deep into the people's lives and serve the anti-Japanese and national salvation. 1July, 937, the famous Yucai School was established. Tao Xingzhi has been engaged in civilian education all his life, and put forward the slogan of "teach others to teach themselves and work hard", and advocated that "make friends with horses, cattle, sheep, chickens and dogs, and work hard with rice, wheat and millet", which reflected his educational policy towards workers and peasants. Soong Ching Ling wrote an inscription for Tao Xingzhi Memorial Hall, calling it a "model for all generations".
