Two Biku of noble birth are good friends. One of them is proficient in Sanzang, good at chanting and carrying forward the scriptures. He has taught many Biku groups and has become the instructor of eighteen Biku groups. Another Biku, after eager and intensive practice, proved Arrowhead fruit and proved his outstanding ability through meditation.

Once, when a witness of the Arahant kingdom, a monk, bowed to the Buddha in a tree and asked questions, two monks met. Biku, who is proficient in Sanzang, didn't know that his friend had obtained Siraitia grosvenorii. Instead, he despised his friend and thought that the old Biku didn't know much about the sacred scriptures, so he decided to ask him some questions about the scriptures. The Buddha knows his unfriendly intentions, and he will certainly bring shame on himself.

Therefore, out of compassion, the Buddha visited the two men to prevent Biku, who was familiar with the scriptures, from making fun of his friends. The Buddha also asked questions himself. He asked Biku, who was familiar with the scriptures, about Zen and Daoism (the advanced realm obtained through meditation). Biku, who is familiar with the scriptures, can't answer because he only teaches others and doesn't practice himself. Another Biku answered all the questions, because he proved the Arahant kingdom by practicing Buddhism diligently. Therefore, the Buddha praised Abraham Biku, but did not praise Biku who was familiar with the scriptures.

Other monks can't understand why the Buddha praised the old monk who won the Arhat Grosvenor, but didn't praise their mentor. The Buddha explained to them that Biku, who was familiar with Sanzang but didn't know how to practice, was just herding cattle for reward, while Biku, who practiced Buddhism himself, enjoyed the five raw products of cattle like the owner of the cattle. Therefore, Biku, who is familiar with Sanzang, only got the service of students, but did not have the benefit of practicing holy fruit. Although Alahan Biku doesn't know much, he can only recite some scriptures, but he clearly understands the essence. Be diligent in spiritual practice and overcome greed, jealousy and delusion. He has no mental troubles in his heart and no persistence in this life and the afterlife, so he really got the holy fruit of practice.
