From the popular "eight styles" in the imperial examination model essays to the "routines" that can be seen everywhere in primary school students' compositions, I wonder how many generations have been "cheated"!
Tell me about my personal experience.
I remember my first composition in the third grade of primary school: my school life.
I knew nothing about life at that time. I thought only families had a life. So, like toothpaste, I squeezed all the ink in my stomach before squeezing out more than 100 words. Later, under the teacher's criticism and education, I wrote an essay on school life, which is "I am not ashamed to ask questions and study hard".
Later, we wrote Learn from Lei Feng to Do Good. We "help grandma cross the street", "help the elderly in nursing homes clean up" and "give the money we found to the police uncle immediately" and so on!
This is the most terrible "learning routine" I have ever experienced! It was not until the rebellious period began after high school that the poison of middle school slowly disappeared!
This is the tragedy of exam-oriented education! Why do you say exam-oriented education again? Because exam-oriented education pursues "efficiency and effect". Short-term "digestion", the most direct can only be "template model and plagiarism"! This is not necessarily because teachers are "backward in educational concepts" and do not abide by the scientific laws of teaching and learning, but because of the requirements of examinations, society and parents.
Another reason why students write "routines" is that "excellent model essays" are flying all over the sky!
In the case of heavy academic burden, students can only use "routines or plagiarism" to achieve the requirements of good composition and good students!
However, in today's society, not only primary school students are writing routines, but adults are also writing their own papers, work summaries, experiences and so on. This is another reason to hurt the "routine" composition of primary school students!
Judging from the process and effect of the school, the knowledge and subjects close to life should be the easiest to understand and master.
However, the fact is just the opposite! Writing, physics, English and other knowledge and application ability that are closest to our lives have become the most terrible "obstacles" in our student process! The terrible thing about this "obstacle" is that primary school students who are "newborn calves are not afraid of tigers" are "afraid" or "detour" because of fear!
In the open era, our educational philosophy and practice still remain in the "routine" of "Eight-part Essay in Ming and Qing Dynasties"!
This tragedy should be more ridiculous and ignorant than the nerds of the old days! Because the old concept of learning and education itself is unscientific and backward!
Stay away from students' lives and personal experiences!
Teachers' "tireless" lectures and students' template-like "lengthy" exercises can only create a new generation of nerds who can only listen to lectures and do homework!
