A collector in Shanghai expressed his willingness to spend a huge amount of money to collect these 33 works during the exhibition, but the exhibition declined. Why could Zhang Jihai become the first calligrapher to have a dialogue with the cultural relics of the Three Kingdoms? The reason is that Zhang Jihai's more than 40 years of military career created his sincere heart. In addition to conducting military education work in military academies, he also often participated in and directed many military exercises. He is proficient in tactics and understands the art of war. His years of military accumulation make him a veritable and qualified calligrapher who can communicate with the cultural relics of the Three Kingdoms. Ma Weidu, born in Beijing in 1955, is the founder and current director of Guanfu Museum. In the early 1980s, Ma Weidu worked at China Youth Publishing House, engaged in literary creation and editing, and published the novel "The Moon Is Full Tonight" and the novel collection "The River of Memory". At the same time, he is committed to the collection and research of ancient Chinese art. The collection includes ceramics, ancient furniture, jade, lacquerware, etc., and has successively compiled and published "Ma Shuo Ceramics", "Ming and Qing Brush Slips", "Art of the Republic of China", " "An Appreciation of Chinese Snuff Bottles" and other books. After hard work, Ma Weidu founded the Guanfu Museum, the first private museum in New China, in 1997. Subsequently, Ma Weidu successively established the local branches of the Guanfu Museum: the Hangzhou branch and the Xiamen branch, making outstanding contributions to the popularization of Chinese traditional culture and art.
