The first two sentences are about painting and writing, and you need to work hard to succeed.

"The verbose and complex are eliminated and the lean is retained." It means that writing poetry and painting are actually the same as being a human being. Only when you can eliminate the complex and keep the lean, can you reach a certain height.

"When painting is raw, it is when it is cooked" contains a deeper truth, which is actually the three stages of artistic pursuit: raw, cooked, and raw. He once said that there are three realms of bamboo painting: "There is bamboo in the eyes, there is bamboo in the heart, and there is no bamboo in the heart." Of course, he borrowed the Zen saying of "Looking at a mountain is a mountain, looking at a mountain, it is not a mountain, looking at a mountain, it is still a mountain." The theory of three realms.

Just like painting bamboo, isn’t it the same as being a human being? Therefore, some people say that literature is like people and paintings are like people.
