In Zhutang Village, Jiantang Township, quanzhou county, Guangxi, there is an alpine scenic spot called Yulu Mountain. The mountain is engraved with quotations from Chairman Mao and reliefs of celebrities. The author is a farmer named Jiang Jiwei. For more than 20 years, he lived alone, didn't talk to anyone, and carved words on Xiaoshishan every day. In recent years, people from all directions have flocked to Zhutang, Quanzhou, hoping to turn false news into true knowledge, and to see Youlu Scenic Area and the old man chiseling mountain.
Jiang Jiwei, who spent more than 30 years silently carving celebrity quotations and heroic reliefs on the Rocky Mountain in front of his house. Over the years, it has gradually become a scale. This mountain is also called the Yuru Mountain Scenic Area by local people. According to local county records, since 1973, Jiang Jiwei has been carving at the back of his hut. Jiang Jiwei said intermittently that the earliest sculptures were Chairman Mao's head and quotations. Because I haven't studied carving techniques, all the techniques are figured out by myself. Because the house is surrounded by walls, when we carve quotations, we should copy them with yellow mud or coke. From the day he picked up the chisel, Jiang Jiwei got up at dawn and was busy until dark. Eat only one lunch a day, rain or shine. More than 30 years have passed, and now, more than 70 celebrity reliefs and 1 100 quotations have been carved on Quotations Mountain. Fonts include regular script, running script, cursive script, seal script and so on.
