It was not until the early 1950s that Master Zhou Qianchuan first came to Beijing. At that time, Master Juzan, Vice President of the Chinese Buddhist Association, held a reception for him and invited celebrities among his friends, such as Zhao Puchu, Liang Shuming and Jiang Chunfang, to introduce him to Master Zhou. Later, he helped him to run a "three-hour club" in Fayuan Temple and saw a doctor every morning. Since then, Master Zhou has been in frequent contact with Master Juzan. Soon, Master Zhou decided to return all the things he learned in Emei Mountain to Master Juzan.
1958, after Master Juzan studied Emei Qigong for eight years, Master Zhou Qianchuan returned three volumes of Emei Sect Lotus Treasure to him according to Master Yan Yong's new system, and he became the 12th generation head of Emei Qigong monks. Master Zhou Qianchuan returned all the canon of Emei learned from Master Yan Yong to Master Juzan. In the 1960s, when the Cultural Revolution began in China, Master Juzan was unjustly imprisoned for eight years. In prison, he saw the future of Emei Qigong through meditation.
In the early 1970s, he was released from prison. Master Juzan focused his vision for the future on a young man named Fu Weizhong. The young man was born in 1949. Since he was six years old, he has been studying and receiving training in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture from his grandfather, who was a physician in the late Qing Dynasty. He likes reading ancient books, especially China's ancient philosophy. With the help of his elders, he began his treatment career at the age of twelve by using the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the knowledge gained from extensive reading. At the age of seven, he began to learn Shaolin Kung Fu. At the age of thirteen, he studied Xingyiquan, Bagua Palm Kung Fu and Wushu cultivation with Mr. Luo, a famous martial artist and former military attache of the Northeast Army.
Like other young people during the Cultural Revolution, Mr. Fu Weizhong went to the countryside to the northeast at the age of eighteen. Because of his training, he became a barefoot doctor and veterinarian in Heilongjiang Production and Construction Corps, and later transferred to the Normal Chinese Medicine Hospital. In eight years, he used Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage to treat diseases for the general public and a large number of animals. During this period, Mr. Fu Weizhong often studied in seclusion and cultivated how to combine the classics of this Sect with the easy-to-understand language in a feasible way and effectively promote them to the people.
From 65438 to 0979, Emei Qigong Class sponsored by Beijing Qigong Research Association taught Emei Twelve Zhuang, Emei's five internal organs and its simplified Emei Zhuang (later renamed Emei Eighteen Methods).
