In spring, the clear stream is gurgling and the flowers are fragrant; in summer, the shade is dripping and the birds are chirping; in autumn, the osmanthus is fragrant and the mountains are covered with red leaves; in winter, the morning and dusk are foggy and the branches are covered with frost. Among the thousands of mountains, there are two peaks, showing off the forest surface, with towering rocks and tall pines, namely Tiancheng Mountain and Tianzhu Mountain. Between the two mountains there is a mysterious canyon of the Chinese Root-Seeking Dragon Veins, with blue water and an endless stream.
In the late spring of the Ji Chou year, Chen Lei found this place in Changtai and was going to build the Chinese Han Literature Garden. One day, I took Li Xiaojun and Yu into the mountains to find peace and quiet. Suddenly, he saw three stones standing on the top of the mountain, forming the character "Lei". Chen Lei pointed at the stones and said with a smile: "It is destined to belong to Yudi." Entering the mountain along the "Lei" stone, there is a yellow mud road, with thorn bushes on both sides. There is no forest of trees and no mountain of rocks. There is only one stream. The stream is small and slow, and there is no beautiful scenery. Everyone is speechless and returns with a sigh.
The next year, when I was in Changtai, I could see the mountains covered with dust, machines roaring, cars passing by, and people shouting. But I saw Chen Lei wearing a bamboo hat, dark skin, high-rolled trousers, covered in mud, directing the workers and overcoming obstacles. They opened mountains under the scorching sun, transported rocks to resist heavy rains, built dams to block water, and created landscapes based on shapes. They are well-proportioned and have a unique cave. They have the legacy of Yu Gong and truly inherit the ancient style of Yu the Great. I was suddenly startled, quietly frightened, then admired, and respected.
Five years later, the Chinese Han Literature Garden was established. The palace is built on the mountain, with towers towering, carved beams and painted buildings, and it looks like a palace. Near the cliff, green water flows with jade, and you lean on the railing, covered with green. There is a three-level pavilion, the painting room is connected all around, the door is open, and the corridor is like a ring. In the morning, the golden tiles of the Han Dynasty shine brightly against the sun, and at dusk, the palace lights shine brightly against the moon. The hall contains hundreds of gold, stone, calligraphy and paintings, tea, wine, piano and chess. The Chinese scholars in Jixian Pavilion are elegant, their calligraphy is fluent, and they forget to leave. There are even more wonderful sights, along the mountain, along the roadside are engraved steles from all dynasties: oracle bones of the Shang Dynasty, bronze inscriptions of the Zhou Dynasty, small seal scripts of the Qin Dynasty, ancient official script of the Han Dynasty, the Diamond Sutra of the Northern Dynasties, the Orchid Pavilion Preface of Wang Xizhi of the Jin Dynasty, the regular script of the Tang Dynasty, and the Song Dynasty. Renzhicao, Zhao Mengfu of the Yuan Dynasty, Dong Qichang of the Ming Dynasty, Deng Shiru of the Qing Dynasty, Mao Zedong, Yu Youren of modern times... everything is available, and there is a dazzling array of paintings. The grand view of heaven and earth is nothing more than this, and all the Chinese calligraphy and writing are gathered here. Among them, the stone carvings of Orchid Pavilion and Diamond Sutra are the most exquisite. The pavilions, terraces and pavilions, with meandering water and drinking glasses, reflect the elegance of famous people in Orchid Pavilion. The characters are as big as a bucket, painted in dazzling gold, and are engraved against the cliff, especially the relics of the Golden Sutra of Mount Tai. For a scholar to build such a huge garden cultural project, he must have his true intention.
Chen Lei’s ancestral home is Xianyou, Putian, a place where the people live, the culture is rich, the bells and spirits are beautiful, the science and technology are at their peak, and the fragrance of books is lingering. He received court training at a young age, read poetry and books, was addicted to calligraphy as much as his life, and practiced diligently every day without interruption. Regular script follows the example of Yanliu, and its business is steady and prosperous. The atmosphere of the prosperous Tang Dynasty is impressive. He specializes in calligraphy for a long time, focusing on Shengjiao Lanting. His brushwork is steady and his composition is natural. After many years of practice, after traveling to the north, I added stele studies to make it thick, ancient and majestic, especially showing the style of everyone. In recent years, he has soaked in the calligraphy of Zhang Cao and Sun Guoting, and the cursive method has smoothed out the meaning of his writing. In addition to being calm, he has gradually seen an elegant style. The artistic conception of his calligraphy is neither urgent nor impetuous, full of freshness, graceful, and leisurely. , there is a strong atmosphere of the iron horse autumn wind in the north of Hebei, and even more the apricot blossoms and spring rain in the south of the Yangtze River.
The calligraphy is the painting of the heart, and the way of calligraphy is the way of humanity. Paper and stone, architecture and context, trace back to the prosperous times of the Han and Tang Dynasties, reproduce Chinese culture, linger in dreams, and are inseparable, wandering around the calligraphy and ink field, and feeling attached to the palaces of the Han and Tang Dynasties. What Chen Lei did was to use the pen of a giant citron to open up mountains and rivers, write words in the world, and show a history of Chinese calligraphy in the land of Haixi, creating thousands of years of achievements and returning to the spiritual home.
