2. A person’s happiness is not because he has more, but because he cares less.
3. To be angry is to punish yourself for the faults of others. To forgive others is to be kind to yourself.
4. Having more money does not necessarily mean you will have more happiness, but having more money will bring you troubles. Being poor and enjoying the Tao is truly comfortable, having no worries and caress and being happy and carefree.
5. Sit quietly and think about your own mistakes. Don’t talk about people’s faults in small talk. Being able to suffer is a person with lofty ideals. Being willing to suffer is not an idiot. Only by respecting a gentleman can you be virtuous. Being afraid of villains is not considered incompetent. Taking a step back is too high. Broad, let the three points of mind be calm. If you want to make progress, you need to think about taking steps back. If you start, think about letting go. If you are successful, you should not start again. There should be room for steps in everything you do. Holding gold is precious, knowing that peace and happiness are worth a thousand gold, thinking twice before things happen, and being patient when angry is the best. Don't be greedy for unexpected wealth. Those who are content will always be happy. If you can handle things in this way, you will be happy and carefree throughout your life.
6. There is no need to ask for merit when doing things, as long as there are no faults, it is merit. There is no need to be virtuous in order to be a human being. It is virtue to have no resentment.
7. Peace is luck, contentment is blessing, a pure heart is salary, and few desires is longevity.
8. A person’s mind will be narrow if he has many desires, and broad if he has few desires.
9. It is better to be poor and happy than to be rich and worry.
10. It is advisable to retreat first when you are deep in thought, and you can rest when you are
satisfied.
11. The power cannot be exhausted, the blessings cannot be enjoyed, the advantages cannot be exploited, and the wisdom cannot be exhausted.
12. A drop of water can penetrate a stone, not because of great strength, but because of deep skill.
13. If you don’t do anything frowning in your life, there will be no gnashing of teeth in the world.
14. You must make friends with righteous people, and do not make friends with unjust friends. Drink quiet tea, don't be greedy for colorful wine. Open the door of convenience and the mouth of right and wrong.

16. The world is so busy, don’t worry about fame and fortune. Live life as you please, don't force wealth and glory.
17. "Self-desire" is a sign of poverty. Things are always enough, the mind is always happy, and people have no expectations and high standards.

19. Do not do any evil and do all the good deeds. Do not neglect to do good deeds because they are trivial, and do not do evil deeds because they are trivial.

21. You don’t have to do things the same way as the customs, nor should you do things differently from the customs. You don’t have to do things to please people, and you don’t have to do things to make people hate you.
22. There are two things in the world that cannot wait: 1. Filial piety. 2. Do good deeds.
23. If you maintain an equal mind and do things conveniently, there will be no trouble in the world. If you have a compassionate heart and do compassionate deeds, you will have peace of mind.
