Kyushu is the geographical division of Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties recorded in China ancient books, and later became the name of China. In ancient China, the whole country was divided into nine regions, namely "Kyushu". According to the records in Shangshu Gong Yu, Kyushu is Jizhou, Yanzhou, Qingzhou, Xuzhou, Yangzhou, Jingzhou, Yuzhou, Liangzhou and Yongzhou. Gong Yu was written by scholars at the end of the Warring States Period.
The ancients thought that the sky was round, and "Fiona Fang" meant the range. Therefore, "Fiona Fang in Kyushu" means "this place in China". That is, Fiona Fang, Kyushu, is a magnificent landscape with a vast territory and rich resources.
