Gigi Lai Sr's Tao Te Ching;

"Curse is greater than dissatisfaction, and blame is greater than desire. Therefore, the content is always enough "(Chapter 46),

"Being satisfied is not humiliating, being content is not dangerous, but it can last for a long time" (Chapter 44).

The phrase "contented people are always happy" has been circulating in China for a long time. It gradually evolved into a philosophy of life.

China Taoism advocates: purity and inaction, leisure and relaxation. To some extent, contentment also confirms this view.

During the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhang Daoling initiated Taoism, based on which he preached everywhere. Therefore, "contented people always have fun" is widely circulated.
