"Failure is the mother of success." This is my favorite famous saying. Life is like a colorful picture, and success and failure are indispensable embellishments. Some people say: success is clear, failure is gloomy. It is also said that success is beautiful and failure is ugly. But I don't think so. In my opinion, only failure can lead to success.

I heard a story about Edison. One day, the teacher asked each student to make a small bench. When the teacher saw the small bench Edison handed in, he asked him, "Is there a smaller bench worse than this in the world?" Edison answered honestly, "Yes." Take out the first two benches he made. Finally, Edison became a great inventor in the world. This also shows that failure is a stepping stone to success, which can accumulate experience for success and inspire us to move forward.

I have failed. It was last summer vacation, and the sun shone brightly on the earth, and cicadas kept calling. There are many children outside to buy popsicles to eat, while I am doing math problems in my summer homework at home. The sultry weather made me sweat, and I met a "roadblock". I think about it, but it's all wrong, and my thoughts are not right. Call my classmates again. They are all ready, but they won't tell me. I'm so hot that my head is sweating and I can't even blow the fan cold. I spread my hands and stopped writing. But my unyielding temper came up again: why can't I if others can? I can do it, too! Thinking about it, I immediately took out the draft paper and "brushed" it. "That's right!" Finally solved the problem. Suddenly I feel less hot.
