"Be content with what you know, and do what you can" was written by Bingxin's grandfather Xie (Zixiu), which means to be "satisfied" in life treatment, but "ignorant" forever in the pursuit of knowledge and cultivation. You should go forward and do things that are beneficial to the people of the world, but never do anything that is against morality. Bing Xin likes this couple very much and often writes them as gifts.

This couplet is the principle of being a man: you should be self-aware and know your own advantages and disadvantages; We should be satisfied with material enjoyment, our own possession and the contribution of others, and what cannot be changed; We should not be satisfied with our spiritual pursuit, our own efforts and efforts, and the things that can and should be changed.
