Princess Changping was the last princess in the Ming Dynasty. She was originally Princess Kun Xing, the daughter of Emperor Chongzhen.
In the feudal era of the late Ming Dynasty, there were wars everywhere in the Ming Dynasty, and these wars even gradually spread to Beijing.
In A.D. 1644, Emperor Chongzhen presided over a big wedding with Princess Kun Xing and Zhou Shixian as the protagonists.
It's just surprising that the two of them are getting married. At the time of yes-men, Li Zicheng, the leader of the peasant uprising army in the late Ming Dynasty, led a hundred thousand troops to send troops from Shaanxi, and directly led the army through difficulties and obstacles, breaking through Juyongguan and successfully entering Beijing.
The wedding of Princess Kunxing, the personal abbot of Emperor Chongzhen, also ended fruitlessly.
Li Zicheng invaded Beijing. In order to shake the capital, countless people fled the capital for fear of being affected by the war. The panicked Emperor Chongzhen lamented that these children were born in the royal family and killed many maids and concubines in the palace.
Even the queen waved a butcher knife, and at the same time moved the idea of killing her daughter. Perhaps Chongzhen was afraid that his children would be insulted by Li Zicheng. He slashed his sword at Princess Kun Xing and cut off her left arm.
Surprisingly, however, Princess Kun Xing did not die because of this, but survived by luck. Later, Princess Kunxing of the Ming Dynasty was renamed Princess Changping.
Princess Changping has been living in the Qing Dynasty ever since, during which she wanted to become a nun, but the emperor shunzhi refused.
This sad woman who lived in troubled times in the late Ming Dynasty passed away in a gloomy mood after four years of Shunzhi.
