What does it mean to govern by doing nothing in love?
Doing nothing without doing anything is a famous saying of Taoism. Some people interpret it as "doing nothing, doing nothing". The former is negative and the latter is positive. This kind of understanding is a bit extreme, which seems to be inconsistent with the characteristics of Taoism. Some focus on the omitted subject "I", that is, "I can do nothing", which is softer than the previous sentence and simply understood as "I do nothing, I can't do anything", that is, I just don't want to do it. Judging from Taoist teachings, there are many problems and complicated ideas. If two different subjects are added in between, it becomes "the monarch (above) does nothing and the minister (people) does everything", then the former "behavior" can be understood as "miscellaneous desire" and the latter "behavior". This understanding is also mentioned in Huai Nan Zi. Huainanzi? The master said, "Doing nothing doesn't mean standing still, but being unwilling to follow yourself." . Huainanzi? "Training on Repairing Things": "If I say nothing, my personal ambition will be incorrect, my lust will not be abolished, and I will do things according to reason, because I have made contributions and pushed the trend of nature, and those who can't tolerate joy will succeed. If you succeed and have a reputation, don't say you feel it. If you are forced to move, if you use water.
