"Heaven will demote people, so they must first suffer their minds, work their bones and muscles, starve their bodies and skin, and be empty of their bodies, so they can't do anything. Therefore, they should be patient. ..... then I know that I was born in sorrow and died in happiness. " (

Their thoughts are consistent, contain profound philosophies, and embody the life wisdom of China people. It tells us a truth: life is not a broad road, and we will always encounter all kinds of difficulties and twists and turns, and we must advance in the struggle of constantly experiencing failures and setbacks and constantly overcoming difficulties. It is this kind of life wisdom that guides people to regard difficulties and adversity as the driving force to inspire themselves to forge ahead, consciously temper themselves in difficulties and adversity, strive for victory with perseverance, and cultivate the spirit of the Chinese nation to be fearless and self-reliant. A history of China is permeated with this spirit. Sima Qian, who was humiliated by imprisonment, worked hard to write and completed the immortal masterpiece Historical Records. In his letter to his friend Ren An, "Letter to Ren An", he cited many examples of sages rising in adversity, such as Zhou Wenwang being detained and deducing the Book of Changes; Confucius was in trouble and wrote Spring and Autumn Annals. Qu Yuan was exiled and wrote Li Sao. Zuo Qiuming was blind and wrote Mandarin. Sun Tzu was punished by squatting on his feet, took the Art of War, and so on. He said that all this is the achievements made by the sages in their difficulties. Sima Qian inspired himself by this, inherited this spirit, and completed the great cause of writing Historical Records.

The happy growth environment makes most of them have the weakness of poor adaptability to setbacks, and some even commit crimes and even commit suicide because of some minor setbacks. In view of this situation, it is of great significance to keep in mind the truth that one is born with worry and dies with happiness and advocate the spirit of conscious tempering. Only by consciously experiencing hardships and hardships can we shoulder the heavy responsibility of welcoming the great national rejuvenation.
