In the exhibition hall of the Communist Party of China History Exhibition Hall, there is a couplet written by Li Dazhao himself - "Iron shoulders bear moral responsibility, skillful hands write articles". The content of the couplet originated from the remonstrance minister Yang Jisheng in the Ming Dynasty, who risked his life to impeach the powerful minister Yan Song.

Li Dazhao took saving the nation as his own responsibility and often encouraged himself by doing so. However, times have changed. This change not only inherits the sense of responsibility and patriotism spirit of "everyone is responsible for the rise and fall of the world" in the excellent traditional Chinese culture, but also embodies the Marxism-guided spirit of the Communist Party of China. With the advanced nature of people, only Chinese Communists who combine Marxism with the practice of the Chinese revolution can truly assume great responsibilities in the Chinese revolution in modern times.

Li Dazhao not only encouraged himself with this couplet, but also encouraged him with his friends. The couplet displayed in the Chinese Communist Party History Exhibition Hall was handwritten by Li Dazhao and presented to his wife Zhao Renlan's brother-in-law Yang Zihui. Li Dazhao dared to be the first to raise the banner of the October Revolution in China and was the earliest disseminator of Marxism in China.
