The office of Chiang Kai-shek, the principal of Whampoa Military Academy, is at the west end of the second floor of Zouma Building. The tables and chairs here have lost their former majesty. On the wall of his office are two directories of the first batch of Whampoa Military Academy students, with many of his annotations and circles on them. In Chen Geng's comment column, it was written: "In this life, he looks weak, but has a stable personality, can work hard, and can lead troops."
