Meaning first, concept first. Look at cooperation and competition first. Simply put, the so-called cooperation means that multiple actors coordinate their actions for the same interests, while the so-called competition means that individuals compete with others for their own interests.
But in today's debate, judging which is more important, competition or cooperation, depends on which can promote the all-round and coordinated development of society and which can promote the realization of common interests of mankind.
Cooperation and competition are both important means of success. We believe that cooperation is more important than competition for three reasons:
First, in today's world, peace and development are the two major themes of the times, and peace and development more reflect the nature of cooperation. Without cooperation, how can we talk about prosperity and development, and how can we talk about "* * *"? In today's world, South-South cooperation, North-South cooperation and all kinds of cooperation are in full swing. International organizations such as the United Nations and the Red Cross are the best proof of the importance of cooperation, and unity is strength and cooperation is the best explanation.
Second, cooperation is good for both sides, and fighting is harmful to both sides. Although the bipolar hegemony of the United States and the Soviet Union has gone far away from us, it has caused immeasurable harm to the world at any time. The painful lesson of knowing only competition but not cooperation tells people that the world needs to strengthen cooperation. Only cooperation is the best way to realize the common interests of mankind, and the role of cooperation is that competition is within reach.
Third, cooperation is the basis of competition. Without cooperation, there is no competition. There is a famous saying in American business circles: "If you can't beat your opponents, join them." Modern competition is no longer "life-and-death", but a higher level of cooperation. Modern enterprises pursue not only a single win, but a win-win or win-win situation.
It should be pointed out that we do not deny the positive role of competition, but in today's world, cooperation plays a more important role in politics, economy, culture and environment. In a word, we think cooperation is more important than competition. thank you
