Nowadays, the days when Tsingtao beer was still a scarce commodity have become a memory. Since 1990s, Tsingtao Brewery Group began to acquire and merge breweries around the world. More than half of the breweries in Shandong, large and small, have changed their homes and taken refuge in "Hushan".
The fly in the ointment is that the products of these merged breweries, although labeled with the brand of Tsingtao Brewery, are even produced according to the technological process of Tsingtao Brewery, but their inherent deficiencies in raw materials and water quality are still difficult to make up in a short time. Tsingtao beer seems to be in short supply in another sense.
There is a small brewery I am familiar with, which transformed in the tide of merger and became one of the descendants of Tsingtao Brewery Group. The XX brand beer originally produced by this factory, despite the hype, was not bought by local consumers. They jokingly called it "one bottle down", which means that you don't need too much to drink this kind of beer, and one bottle will definitely get drunk.
Tsingtao beer left me many tender memories, so I miss the original Tsingtao beer very much. I also hope that the brands merged with Tsingtao Brewery will be fine without the trademark of Tsingtao Brewery, even if it is difficult to be exactly the same as the authentic Tsingtao Brewery, at least it will be close. People like nostalgia because there are some beautiful things worth remembering in the past. If you used to be obsessed with a product or brand, it can only prove that their similar products are not good enough now.
