State and government are two concepts. Patriotism does not mean loving the government. Because politics is only a part of the country, not the whole. They should not be confused. The government may be controlled by people like Hitler, but when it is controlled by such unjust factors, it will hurt the country. A true patriot should protect the country from such a government.
