If we can endure it when people insult me, bully me, or take advantage of me, and don’t care about how much others take advantage of me, and don’t worry about it, in this way, not only will the karmic fate in the past life be eliminated, but also the immediate future will be over. It can make us calm and worry-free, increase our happiness and wisdom, and extend our life span. This world is like a dream, everything has to be seen through. Not only can we not be greedy for money, but pain will follow if we are greedy for money. We cannot be greedy for fame, and greed for fame is also suffering. There is nothing in the Saha world that we can miss. Our practice relies on the power of our vows to achieve Buddhahood. Since ancient times, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, such as Manjusri, Samantabhadra, Avalokitesvara, etc., all achieved their achievements by practicing asceticism through their own power of vows. To learn Buddhism, you need to have the power of vows of Bodhisattvas such as Guanyin, Samantabhadra, and Ksitigarbha, do things that others don’t want to do, and endure hardships that others don’t want to endure. Only in this way can you have a way to practice. Those who become Buddhas and Bodhisattvas , are often accomplished by those who are considered stupid by others. When we come to this world, we just need to live, and food, clothing, and housing are inevitable. However, with the money we earn, if we can eat enough and have enough clothes to keep us warm, we can basically live well. Don’t be greedy. Use the remaining money to give, To do meritorious deeds is to be a good person. If you squander and enjoy yourself wantonly, do as you please, without restraint, and cannot do meritorious deeds, you will become a bad person. Practitioners who recite Buddha's name have to endure all kinds of illnesses and calamities in order to eliminate the karma and retributions from past lives. Therefore, practitioners must endure hardships and suffer various calamities before they can achieve the Buddha's path. Sakyamuni Buddha did not achieve enlightenment in one lifetime. He also underwent many asamkhya kalpas and endured many hardships before he attained enlightenment. When we practice cultivation, the amount of suffering we endure is the source of blessing. The depth of blessing depends on the amount of suffering we endure. To become a monk is to practice patience. If you care about the rights and wrongs of others, you will still be in the worldly life and death troubles. It is not the realm of freedom for monks. People who can practice patience in everything will gradually become wise. When things are touched, wisdom will become clear and they will know what to do. Do, the so-called wisdom is like the sea, which is honed by enduring humiliation, which can lead to supernatural powers. Practicing to become a Buddha, to practice Bodhisattva, and even to help sentient beings all depend on our inner aspiration. If our inner aspiration is strong, we will be able to overcome many difficulties without turning back. The same goes for becoming a monk. No matter you are a college student, a Ph.D., or illiterate, you must also start from sweeping the floor, chopping firewood, growing vegetables, cooking and other chores asceticism. Slowly eliminate your karma, gradually become wise and clear, and gain liberation. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past achieved liberation by doing this and cultivating in this way. If we now follow the path practiced by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the past, we will naturally obtain the same results as the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Don’t think that reciting the Buddha’s name is very simple. People who have a strong sense of karma will find it boring and become troubled and unable to stop reciting it. Therefore, if you can keep reciting the name of the Buddha, it will not be easy. People who practice asceticism must have courage and willpower, and not be afraid of hardship. They must experience various situations personally before they can understand the actual situation, have clear wisdom, and be unhindered when encountering difficulties. Otherwise, without the willpower, Those who are afraid of hardship and timid are bound physically and mentally. How can they develop wisdom? Just treat people in an ordinary way, nothing particularly good, nothing particularly bad, neither good nor bad, just be average. This is cultivation, otherwise it wouldn’t be called cultivation. Patience is the foundation of practice. Patience is also the first step in the precepts. Patience is the greatest blessing. Those who can practice tolerance will have the greatest blessings. They can also increase concentration, eliminate karma, and open up wisdom.
