1. Basic situation
In order to build and manage the boarding system of rural compulsory education in our school, we will discuss the construction and management of the boarding system in rural compulsory education in our school. Our school covers an area of ??18,723 square meters, with a construction area of ??5,474 square meters, a green area of ??5,405 square meters, and an activity venue of 7,031 square meters. Currently, our school has 14 general education classes, 42 teachers, 8 canteen employees, 1 dormitory manager, and 4 security guards. There are 744 students, including 43 junior boarding students and 166 middle and senior boarding students (70 males; 96 females); the learning and living facilities are complete.
2. Management situation
In the spring of 2016, there were more than 207 younger boarding students and middle and senior boarding students in the school, occupying all the beds. Problems such as a lack of dining tables in the cafeteria, a lack of beds in dormitories, and a lack of toilets and squatting places are more prominent. The restaurant area is seriously insufficient; the dormitory toilets only have 12 places for men and women to squat. In addition, the school's teaching equipment, information technology education facilities, book collections, etc. are also quite lacking. The inadequate supporting facilities for the construction of rural boarding schools have become one of the factors restricting the balanced development of urban and rural education.
2. Safety management is under great pressure. The building facilities such as showers and canteens in the school dormitories are seriously not up to standard, and there are also hidden quality problems. The area of ??dormitories, canteens, restaurants, and toilets is temporarily difficult to meet the requirements, which puts great pressure on health and epidemic prevention and other work, and poses serious safety risks. Our school is located next to a highway. There are great safety risks for students during school and after school.
3. School funds are seriously insufficient. At present, the infrastructure of our boarding system is backward. There are no complete walls, no security doors in the dormitories, and the infrastructure is backward. In the final analysis, it is the lack of financial support and lack of project support. To improve this backward state, a large amount of capital investment is required. In addition, with the increase in boarding students, bed purchase funds, school management expenses, water and electricity bills, etc. have also increased sharply, increasing the financial pressure on schools. Rural boarding schools do not have school doctors, only canteen and dormitory managers. 1. Increase investment in infrastructure.
