"There are no winners or losers in war.". What he said was exactly what was expressed in the American film "The Star-Spangled Banner". In the United States, where war weariness began to spread, the "heroes" who survived the Battle of Iwo Jima were widely publicized in order to raise funds for the war. They were confused because they could not convey the cruelty of the war that had devoured the lives of their comrades to their families.

The public expects heroes, the country and the army create heroes, and the media hypes heroes. The true inner voices of the confused soldiers were truly conveyed in the film.
