Good morning! Today, the topic of my speech is "Practice the Eight Rites and Four Manners and Strive to Create a Wonderful Life". The cultivation of core values is not a day's work. We should adhere to the principle of from easy to difficult, from near to far, and strive to turn the requirements of core values into daily codes of conduct and form the belief concept that we consciously pursue. To establish and cultivate the socialist core values, young people should study hard, work hard at Xiu De, try hard to distinguish, try hard to be honest, try hard to gain true knowledge, strengthen moral cultivation, pay attention to moral practice, be good at distinguishing right from wrong, be good at judging and choosing, be down-to-earth officers, be down-to-earth, be determined to serve the motherland and people, try hard to practice, and work hard from the unity of knowing and doing. Since the spring semester this year, Jiangsu has taken the lead in carrying out education activities on the cultivation of minors' civilized manners in the province. The whole province/kloc-0.7 million minors will strive to be civilized people in the learning experience of "eight rites and four instruments". Xunzi said, "Those who are courteous are nurturing." Etiquette is a person's upbringing. The function of etiquette is to adjust the relationship between self and others. Etiquette is ostensibly words, behaviors and manners, and it is a kind of formal beauty. But at a deeper level, it can improve the quality of individuals and shape a good group image. Civilized etiquette permeates all aspects of school life, dribs and drabs, which are embodied in:
(1) Dormitory Civilization: May 10, I participated as a volunteer in the "Friendship Activities for Junior Middle School Students in Beitang District" held by Shibei High School. Parents are full of praise when they see the warm and elegant girls' dormitory: the dormitory management in Shibei really deserves its reputation. I can't help feeling a little ashamed. In this respect, our boys' dormitory is obviously not as neat and clean as girls' dormitory. I want to remind male students to pay attention to personal hygiene. If you don't sweep a house, why sweep the world? How can you walk around the world if you don't wash your shoes? Can't let people say that the boys' dormitory must have a bad smell? I also hope that students will not make noise in the dormitory, which is a place to rest. Loud noise not only affects everyone's rest and study, but also easily causes disputes. Confucius said, "If people are rude, they will not stand, if things are rude, they will not succeed, and if countries are rude, they will be uneasy. "If everyone is polite, tolerant and kind to others, then our campus will be more harmonious and peaceful.
(2) Classroom civilization: The classroom is a place to study, and there should be no noise in it. Some people only care about themselves and ignore those students who study hard!
(3) Catering civilization: Our head teacher, Mr. Huang, often tells us to buy snacks and drinks as little as possible, because these junk foods contain a lot of trans fatty acids, which will accumulate in our bodies and damage our health. Three meals a day, you must choose nutritious and hygienic food, and you can't make friends with junk food just because it tastes good for a while. Eat at school, don't chase and fight, be careful with the plates, eat as much as you want, and don't leave meals, because a porridge and a meal are hard to come by. The process of eating contains many details, which can reflect a person's habits, personality, way of doing things and so on. We can see the connotation of a person in detail, and the most basic quality of a person is reflected here. Everyone is trying to cultivate themselves. No matter who you are, no matter how old you are, no matter how high or low your status is, as long as you are willing to work hard, you can certainly cultivate yourself to be more perfect.
Students, we are in the best and most difficult high school era, which is also a leap stage in our growth process. Only by taking action and exercising yourself in every little thing in life can we realize our dreams. As the saying goes, if you don't make rules, you can't be Fiona Fang. There are family rules at home and school rules at school. By following these etiquette, we can become a polite person. Let's try our best to integrate the Eight Rites into everything around us and create a wonderful life! Thank you!
