On the European battlefield, Nazi troops joined the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Norway after attacking Poland. 1On June 4th, 940, France, one of the world powers, surrendered, and Hitler marched in front of the Arc de Triomphe, shouting "Sea Lion Action" to attack Britain.
