However, it is really regrettable to look at what the court did in the late Qing Dynasty. Since the First Opium War, the army in the late Qing Dynasty ended in a fiasco in front of the western army. Some people criticized those in power in the late Qing Dynasty for being greedy, and the army was even more vulnerable. Millions of Taiping troops in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom were wiped out by the Qing army. Why didn't Eight-Nation Alliance defeat thousands of people when it invaded China? On this issue, I summed up the situation in the late Qing Dynasty and summarized three reasons. Please correct me.

First of all, the most important reason is the issue of combat power. In the late Qing Dynasty, hundreds of officials took care of each other and were corrupt. In this case, it is impossible to increase military spending and train with heart. A country has fundamentally collapsed. Even if the Qing government can win several wars, it can only live for a few more days.

Whether it is the Taiping Rebellion or the invasion by foreign enemies, it is a key notice to the Qing government. If the Taiping Army captured the world in those days, it was only the second place in the Qing government, and there was no substantial change. At that time, the Meiji Restoration in Japan was to scratch the bones and heal the wounds, and it was truly reborn. Feudalism has been passed down in China for too long, and the people of China have been enslaved for too long. Only blood and fire can truly awaken the people of China. From this point of view, as long as the invaders can't kill all China people, they are just China's grindstone, and the Chinese nation will stand on the top of the world again sooner or later.
