"Coming to the Edge of Life" was written by Ms. Yang Jiang when she was 96 years old. For the first time, she frankly expressed her thoughts on fundamental issues such as fate, life, life and death, spirit and flesh, ghosts and gods.
In the preface, Mr. Yang wrote: "I am standing on the edge of life, looking back and forward. Looking back, I have lived a lifetime, a lifetime , What is it for? I want to explore the value of life. If I go forward, there will be nothing left. Of course, my body will be cremated, and my soul will be gone. No more?" This passage points out the two major themes she wants to discuss, one is the value of life, and the other is the destination of the soul. The former points to life, and the latter points to death.
