1. The handwriting is clear and the paragraphs are clear: the font should not be too big or too small, one-third to one-half of the line spacing is appropriate; in addition, the size should be consistent and not too large. The letters should be tilted in the same direction and not tilted here and there; they should be written against the dotted line given and should not jump up and down; in short, they should give the grader a clear and neat feeling.
2. The content is complete and closely adheres to the outline: Generally speaking, CET-6 writing will give a three-point Chinese outline, and candidates should strictly follow the three points to write three paragraphs. Don't make any omissions, and don't change the order of the outline's key points.
3. Ensure accuracy first, then seek brilliance: This is the most important one. First of all, make sure your grammar and spelling are correct, even if you use small words and short sentences. If you can, pursue shining words. In fact, in addition to article errors, common grammatical errors in compositions also include tense errors, singular and plural errors in nouns and verbs, inconsistent pronouns, part-of-speech errors, and incomplete subject and predicate errors in sentences.
4. Summarize first, then divide, and use conjunctions: What we are talking about here is the structure and coherence of the paragraph. English articles especially like to summarize first and then divide or get straight to the point. In addition, the formal connection between paragraphs and sentences is particularly obvious, that is, a lot of related words are used. When writing, just use the three-point outline given as the opening sentence of each paragraph, and then add two or three extended sentences, that is, reasons or examples. Of course, sometimes you can also add a little foreshadowing sentence to make the argument natural or to expand the number of words.
5. Use concise language and sound arguments: don’t be long-winded, overly repetitive and piling up. In addition, although the content is not as important as the language, it will definitely affect the score. Candidates should practice as much as possible so that they can quickly think of some strong reasons and appropriate examples in the examination room.
