There was a debate contest between college students in Taiwan Province Province and mainland China, and the topic seemed to be "Should a good son and daughter have the ambition of all directions?". Mainland college students oppose it. In the debate, Confucius' saying "Parents don't travel far" in The Analects of Confucius was quoted as an argument, and he thought that he was very proud and could put the other debater in a desperate situation. I didn't expect Taiwan Province college students to talk endlessly about Confucius' words, and there was a half sentence "You must swim well" (see The Analects of Confucius). However, taking it out of context left a very bad impression on mainland college students.
